The man there tested all the fuses on the board under the steering wheel (including AC and ACC) and said they were all working so no point in replacing anything. Truly the simplest way to resolve the radio problem is to visit your local salvage yard. I couldn't get the fuse out, so went to Halfords. First I would suggest checking the fuse for memory/clock functions. I assumed it had blown a fuse, so did a little googling and found something that suggested it would be the AC or ACC fuse. The lighter outlet is actually a switched source these days. the clock and radio use them to keep the time intact and the radio use it for station presets. If not then it is most likely a clock issue. Sounds like a missing constant voltage source is missing, The dome, clock and radio all require constant voltage. Googled the problem and found another guy with the same problem. #RADIO CLOCK NOT WORKING INSTALL#At this point the clock and radio also stopped working. Did the clock stop working immediately after the radio install If so then it sounds like a fuse may have blown. Mazda3/Mazdaspeed3 - Radio/Clock/temp display dead - Hey, Mazda 3 Sport 2006, 8000km. Yesterday I went to take the bulb out to match it up in the shop. When I touched the bulb, it flashed on briefly then went out again. The interior light stopped working about 3 weeks ago. ![]()
